Gabriella Militello
I'm Gabi, a Northern New Jersey-based lighting designer, stage manager, and photographer. As the Co-Founder and Vice President of Preston Lighting Inc., I lead a lighting design company I established with a partner several years ago. My expertise in stage production is further demonstrated through my extensive work with various theater companies in the North Jersey area, including Gas Lamp Players where I serve as a stage manager and counselor. In addition to my design work, I offer professional photography services for a variety of clients. My passion for the arts extends beyond my career; I enjoy reading, attending concerts, and photographing live music.
My theater journey began when I was 7, fueled by a passion for storytelling and performance. Over the years, my passion has shifted to the technical side with focuses on stage management and lighting design. Each production has been an opportunity to grow creatively and professionally, shaping my commitment to the art form.
In high school, I built my photography skills through classes, small local commercial projects, and school theater events. This mix of education, community work, and personal exploration gave me a well-rounded photography background. I’ve specifically focused on commercial photography where I go to school and town wide events.
