Inspired by Richard Scarry’s What Do People Do All Day?, My inquiry was: “How can photo-documentary capture moments in time?” I took 10 candid photos of people working and living during summer days in Montclair, LBI, and New York City. The images ranged from construction workers, food trucks to the calm ocean, chosen to show both activity and pause. I discovered how ordinary routines reveal complexity and meaning. By avoiding staged shots, I explored authenticity and left some images open for viewers to question what else might be happening.
